成人高考英語作文寫作原則：

多利用長短句

如果我們把短句放在段首或者段末，也可以揭示主題：As a creature, I eat; as a man, I read.Although one action is to meet the primary need of my body and the other is tosatisfy the intellectual need of mind, they are in a way quite similar.

強烈建議：在文章第一段(開頭)用一長一短，且先長后短;在文章主體部分，要先用一個短句解釋主要意思，然后在闡述幾個要點的時候采用先短后長的句群形式，定會讓主體部分妙筆生輝!文章結尾一般用一長一短就可以了。

一二三原則

好的英語作文一定要條理清楚。考官們看文章也必然要通過這些關鍵性的“標簽”來判定你的文章是否結構清楚，條理自然。破解方法很簡單，只要把下面任何一組的詞匯加入到你的幾個要點前就清楚了。

1)first, second,third, last/firstly, secondly,thirdly, finally/the first, the second, the third, the last(一般推薦，原因：俗)

2)to begin with, then,furthermore, finally/to start with, next,in addition, finally/first and foremost,besides, last but not least(強烈推薦)

3)most important of all, moreover, finally

4)on the one hand, on the other hand/for one thing, for another thing(適用于兩點的情況)

詞匯升級原則

英語作文不像漢語作文那么長，100字左右的發揮空間，所以要在有限的時間寫出吸引老師的句子;最常用的方法就是使用豐富多彩的詞語和短語。寫作時，試著用盡可能多的高級詞匯和短語來替換普通單詞。

例如：good替換為beneficial，remember替換為keep in mind that。簡而言之，盡量使用高級的單詞和短語。這將使你的作文在簡單的單詞基礎上提高至少3 - 5分。

從句原則

要吸引考官，詞匯和短語是不夠的，還要靈活使用從句。在考試中，使用短句可能使你的作文沒有錯誤，但同時失去出彩的機會。在作文中適當運用一些句式，如定語從句等，可能會有額外的加分效果。但需要注意的是，不能一直使用分句，這樣會造成審美疲勞。所以，最好的方法是短句和長句的結合，在短句之間適當地插入幾個從句，這樣作文就會顯得高級一些。
